We are Laura Kenyon and Debra Walland, the sister act behind Seaside Rug Hooking Company. We began rug hooking in 2006 by attending a workshop in Scarborough, Maine with artist and teacher, Jacqueline Hansen.

We became the Seaside Rug Hooking Company in 2007 when Jackye Hansen sold her extensive collection of pattern designs to us. Since then, we have been constantly adding new designs by Debra and adaptations from other artists. We now offer over 350 patterns from classic florals and pictorials to contemporary themes.

The secret to successfully working together is that we live 1000 miles apart. Laura is in Wakefield, Rhode Island and Debra is on Hilton Head Island, South Carolina. We are too far apart to throw punches but never too far for a sisterly hug.
