Dorr Bundles

Dorr bundles were created to allow you to have an assortment of colors that either co-ordinate or are in special sequences of color. The colors in the bundles originate from our signature line of by-the-yard colors and our potpourri swatch line. Although not suitable for braiding the bundles are a wonderful addition to any hooking or wool applique stash. We have had many requests from customers who have ordered the bundles to know what the individual shades are so they may order extra wool of certain colors. We now list the colors on our web site next to the bundles but keep in mind that these do change depending upon our inventory. Hand Dyed Bundles

It took a long time and a lot of persuading to get into the hand-dyed wool business, but we love it. Some talented ladies are doing the dyeing for us and when the dyed wool arrives everyone here enjoys playing with the new colors and the hand-dyed bundles take on a life of their own. The bundles consist of five colors and sometimes they co-ordinate, sometimes it is a special holiday sequence and sometimes they are just a grouping of beautiful dyed wools. As always the wool is from our signature line and some of the colors are over white or natural but many of them have been dyed over other shades.

Textured Bundles

Our textured fabrics change faster than our signature line of wool since they are of limited quantity. Nearly everyone at the store is involved with hooking, braiding or wool applique and uses the wool for their own personal projects, which gives us a lot of constructive input on which fabrics work well together.

Since the bundles use textured wool, not all of the wool will be suitable for a #3 or a #4 cut — so if you will be doing fine hooking, check with us first.
