Welcome to the Dorr Mill

Located in New Hampshire's beautiful Lake Sunapee Region, on Routes 11 and 103 (near Newport), we're conveniently situated halfway between Route 89 from Concord to Hanover and Route 91 from Greenfield, Massachusetts, to Ascutney, Vermont.

The Dorr Mill Store is a truly national center for wool and has had manufactured an extensive line of 100% wool for the time-honored crafts of traditional rug hooking, braiding and quilting.

We also produce white and natural wools for those who wish to dye their own colors, as well as stock thousands of yards of woolen textures and solids. These are all available at great prices and excellent quality. You will find a full line of accessories and the latest patterns from noted designers.

At the store you will find considerable savings, and fiber artists find our wide selection of fabric designs, textures, wools, and blends most appealing.

The store is justifiably proud of the quality and wide selections in our craft department. You will find everything you need to create unique things for your home and friends.

Our new online store offers an extensive selection of our merchandise — just follow the links on the right of this page. And if you don't find what you're looking for, please give us a call: 800 846-3677.

Our wool mail-order business encompasses the globe and we always welcome inquiries from teachers, shops and retail customers. Contact us for free descriptive price lists. (Please specify hooking, braiding or quilting.)
